The Good News
You can reprint your shipping label in almost every situation. As long as your shipment hasn't already been scanned and is in transit, you can generate a new label from your courier or sales platform. The process is different depending on where you bought the label, but it usually takes less than a minute.
Reprinting by Platform
Royal Mail Click & Drop
How to reprint:
Log into your Royal Mail Click & Drop account, go to "Order history", find the shipment you need, and click "Print label again". A new copy will be generated immediately.
Royal Mail stores all your labels indefinitely, so you can reprint them months after the initial purchase if needed. The label will be identical to the original, with the same tracking number and barcode.
DPD
How to reprint:
Log into your DPD account, navigate to "My parcels" or "Shipments", find the shipment, and look for a "Reprint label" or "Print label" button. If you can't find it, try searching by tracking number.
DPD allows unlimited reprints of the same label, as long as the parcel hasn't already been scanned and picked up. Once it's in transit, you'll need to contact them to modify the shipment.
Evri (Hermes)
How to reprint:
Go to your Evri account, click "My parcels", select the parcel you need, and look for a "Reprint" or "Print label" option. Most accounts show this next to the tracking number.
Evri labels can be reprinted as long as the parcel hasn't reached the final delivery facility. Once it's out for delivery, contact Evri customer service if you absolutely need a new label.
Yodel
How to reprint:
Log into your Yodel account, find the shipment in your account history, and click "Print label" or "Reprint". The new label will have the same tracking number as the original.
Yodel typically allows reprints up until the parcel is scanned at a sorting facility. After that, contact Yodel customer service for assistance.
ParcelForce
How to reprint:
Go to your ParcelForce account (part of Royal Mail's system), find the shipment in your history, and select "Reprint label". It works the same as Click & Drop.
ParcelForce stores labels permanently, so you can retrieve and reprint them at any time, even if the parcel has already been delivered.
eBay Shipping
How to reprint:
Go to "My eBay", find "Orders", click on the order, and you'll see a "Print label" or "Reprint label" button. Click it to generate a new copy.
eBay allows unlimited reprints as long as the label hasn't been used. Once a parcel is picked up by a courier, you can still print new labels, but they won't affect the original shipment.
Etsy
How to reprint:
Go to "Orders", find the order that needs reprinting, and click "Print shipping label" or "Reprint label". Etsy will regenerate the label immediately.
Etsy lets you reprint labels multiple times. Each reprint will have the same label, tracking number, and barcode, so it doesn't matter which copy you use.
Shopify
How to reprint:
Go to "Orders" in your Shopify admin, find the order, scroll to the "Shipping" section, and click "Print label" or "Reprint". A new copy will be generated.
Shopify allows unlimited reprints as long as the shipment is still in "Unfulfilled" or "Partially Fulfilled" status. Once shipped, you can still reprint, but the label won't change the shipment's status.
Vinted, Depop, Poshmark, Mercari
How to reprint:
Go to your orders or sales history, find the transaction, and look for a "Print label", "Reprint", or "View label" button. Each platform places this slightly differently, but it's usually near the order details.
These platforms work with different courier partners depending on your location and shipping option. If you can't find a reprint button, look for your tracking number and contact the courier directly.
If You Used a One-Time QR Code Label
Some courier integrations (particularly some international options) generate one-time QR codes instead of traditional barcodes. If this applies to you, the label might not be reprinted through the standard methods above. In this case, contact the courier or platform where you purchased the label and explain that you've lost the original. They can usually generate a new one for you or issue a replacement.
If the Parcel Is Already in Transit
If your label was already scanned and your parcel is in transit, you don't actually need a new one. The courier has your tracking information, and the shipment will continue to be routed based on the barcode that was scanned. You can reprint the label for your own reference, but it won't affect delivery.
If for some reason you need to contact the courier about a parcel that's in transit, use the original tracking number rather than a reprinted label.
What If You Can't Find a Reprint Option?
If your platform doesn't have an obvious reprint button, try these steps:
- Search your email for the original label PDF or shipping confirmation. Most platforms email you a copy.
- Check your browser's download folder. You may have downloaded the label and forgotten about it.
- Log into the platform on a different browser or device. Sometimes the reprint option doesn't load properly on mobile.
- Contact customer support for the platform or courier. They can regenerate the label for you and either email it or let you download it again.
Preventing This in the Future
The best way to avoid losing labels is to print them immediately after generating them, or save a backup PDF copy of every label you create. Most platforms let you download or email yourself a copy. Keep these files organized in a folder on your computer so you can find them later if needed.
